AMUSE Season 2 brought together music, youth, and live entertainment for one of the biggest college music festivals in Kerala. Held on January 17, 2026, at St. Aloysius College, Elthuruth, Thrissur, the event united talented student musicians, alumni, music enthusiasts, and distinguished guests for a day dedicated to celebrating creativity, competition, and live performance.
Recognized as Kerala's biggest intercollegiate music band competition and concert, AMUSE Season 2 featured electrifying performances by college bands from across the state, culminating in a spectacular live concert by State Award-winning playback singer KS Harisankar. Organized by the St. Aloysius College Alumni Association, the event celebrated emerging musical talent while honoring the legacy of legendary Kerala guitarist and composer John P. Varkey, creating an unforgettable experience for thousands of attendees.
AMUSE Season 2 was conceptualized to provide aspiring musicians with a professional platform to showcase their talent before a large audience while fostering Kerala's vibrant campus music culture. With a prize pool of ₹1,00,000, the competition attracted some of the state's finest college bands, making it one of the most anticipated intercollegiate music competitions and college concerts in Kerala.
The event unfolded in two exciting phases. The morning featured intense intercollegiate band competitions judged by experienced music professionals, while the evening transformed into a grand live concert headlined by KS Harisankar. The event combined competitive spirit, live entertainment, and cultural celebration into one large-scale music festival that resonated with students, alumni, and music lovers alike.
SHOWRIDER partnered with the organizers as the Event Production, Artist Management, Coordination, and Media Production Partner, delivering comprehensive support that ensured the event was executed seamlessly from planning through completion.
Highlights & Experience
The festival created an energetic atmosphere from the very beginning, with powerful performances by talented college bands competing for top honors on a professionally designed stage equipped with concert-grade lighting, sound, and visual production. Every performance showcased the passion and creativity of Kerala's emerging musicians, making the competition itself a major attraction.
As the sun set, the excitement reached its peak with the grand live concert by KS Harisankar. His captivating performance, featuring some of his most celebrated songs, transformed the venue into a vibrant concert arena, with thousands of attendees singing along and creating an unforgettable festival atmosphere.
Beyond the performances, the event featured immersive stage production, dynamic lighting, premium sound engineering, seamless artist transitions, engaging audience experiences, and professional event coordination that maintained the energy throughout the day. SHOWRIDER also documented the entire event through high-quality photography, cinematic videography, live event coverage, and digital content creation, extending the event's reach across social media platforms long after the final performance.
Our Role at the Event
SHOWRIDER was proud to serve as the official Event Production, Artist Management, Coordination, and Media Production Partner for AMUSE Season 2, delivering end-to-end support for one of Kerala's largest college music events.
Our team managed artist booking and coordination for KS Harisankar, production planning, technical coordination, stage management, event scheduling, backstage operations, hospitality, logistics, artist liaison, show flow management, and on-ground coordination to ensure every segment of the competition and concert was executed flawlessly.
In addition to live event execution, SHOWRIDER handled comprehensive media production, including professional photography, cinematic videography, backstage documentation, concert coverage, social media content creation, highlight reels, and post-event storytelling. By combining large-scale event production, seamless artist management, efficient event coordination, and impactful digital content production, SHOWRIDER helped transform AMUSE Season 2 into one of the most successful college music festivals, live concerts, and intercollegiate cultural events in Kerala, further strengthening our reputation as a trusted partner for concerts, festivals, artist management, and premium live event experiences.
