UST Trivandrum Foundation Day Celebration

About
UST Global's 26th Foundation Day Celebration brought together thousands of employees at the company's Trivandrum campus for one of its most important annual institutional celebrations. Foundation Day was designed as an opportunity to honour UST's organisational journey, celebrate its people, reinforce its culture, and create an experience that reflected the standards of a global technology organisation.
The 26th edition was organised as a two-part celebration consisting of a Pre-Foundation Day Kickoff on September 17 and the Main Foundation Day Celebration on October 10. The kickoff included the Foundation Day logo and theme launch, T-shirt unveiling, entertainment programmes, and a motorcycle rally by UST's internal riding community, while the main celebration developed into an extensive programme involving leadership, employees, performers, and entertainers.
Highlights & Experience
The main Foundation Day programme was staged inside a 47,200-square-foot German tent structure on the UST campus and hosted approximately 7,000 employees. The programme extended for around ten hours and included leadership addresses, the Centre Head entry, management performances, employee talent programmes, an awards ceremony, celebrity entertainment, DJ performances, fireworks, and comprehensive photography and video coverage.
Casino Night was selected as the creative theme and extended across the venue through environmental design, themed photo opportunities, engagement installations, lighting, visual production, and campus experiences. Special attention was given to audio engineering because of the challenging acoustic behaviour of the German tent. Sound systems were configured specifically for the venue, with acoustic treatment, strategic subwoofer placement, zone-based speaker calibration, and specialist technical engineering used to ensure clear audio throughout the audience area.
Our Role at the Event
Showrider Entertainment partnered with UST from the RFP and creative planning stages through complete event execution. The team developed theme concepts, experience design, technical planning, production schedules, acoustic solutions, stage and venue environments, employee engagement elements, and a structured execution framework capable of supporting both the kickoff programme and the main Foundation Day celebration.
Major venue production began well ahead of event day, allowing structural installations, technical systems, rehearsals, lighting programming, sound testing, and show rundowns to be completed before the celebration. Showrider managed production coordination, stage systems, lighting, sound, entertainment programming, guest and artist coordination, photography, videography, communication, and complete on-ground execution, creating a Foundation Day experience that established a new internal benchmark for UST's Trivandrum campus.
